A Coffs Harbour man has put his first family home on his Christmas list after scoring $100,000 in a recent Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw.

The happy winner held the 1st Prize winning entry in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 10807 on 6 November 2023.

The man admitted the winning ticket had been languishing in his ute for several weeks before he remembered to check it.

“I read something on Facebook that someone had won $100,000 from that store and I thought, ‘that’s where I get my tickets from’,” he said.

“I often buy tickets and forget I’ve got them in the ute. I went in and checked two tickets – one had no win and the other won $100,000.

“I usually put on Powerball and Monday & Wednesday Lotto, but I had some change in my car and I just got this as a lucky dip – it was just a random, spur-of-the-moment thing.

“I couldn’t believe it. I was just in shock. I was shaking for an hour.

“It couldn’t have come at a better time.

“We’re currently renting, and we’ve been saving up for a house deposit for our first family home. This really helps my young family get ahead.

“It’s just awesome.”

His winning entry of one number was purchased at Boambee Discount Drug Store, Shop 2, Boambee Central, 140 Linden Avenue, Boambee.

The team at Boambee Discount Drug Store said they were over the moon to have sold a first prize Lucky Lotteries winning entry and wished their winner all the best for the future and a merry Christmas.
