Between 1 July 2018 and 30 June 2019, there were 118 Instant Scratch-Its top prize winners across the Lott’s jurisdictions. If your dad is a maroon’s supporter, now he has even more reason to love the Sunshine State. 42 of these top prizes were sold in Queensland — more than any other state in the country!

New South Wales wasn’t too far behind with 39 Instant Scratch-Its top prizes, while Victoria had 21 and South Australia had 10. The Australian Capital Territory enjoyed four wins and the Northern Territory and Tasmania had one each. 

Ode to the Postcodes 
In Queensland, six postcodes each sold two top prize-winning Instant Scratch-Its tickets. Townsville’s Kirwan/Thuringowa (4817) leads the way with total top prize wins worth more than $1.55 million.Other hot suburbs include Goodna (4300), Burpengary (4505), Morayfield (4506), Caboolture/Beachmere (4510), and Waterford (4133). 

Port Lincoln (5606) in South Australia also sold two top prize-winning Instant Scratch-Its, as did both Bateau Bay (2261) and Brookvale (2100) in New South Wales, and Kangaroo Flat (3555) and Kennington (3550) in Victoria. 

During the past 12 months, our 118 thrilled Instant Scratch-Its top prize winners collectively took home more than $12.4 million. Some will be using their windfall to travel the world, renovate the house, or treat their family and loved ones.
