A Tullamarine woman can’t wait to take her travel plans up a notch after scoring $10,000 on an Instant Scratch-Its ticket.

The top prize-winning $1 Lots O Luck Instant Scratch-Its ticket was purchased at The Lucky Charm Airport West, Shop 142, 29-35 Louis Street, Westfield Airport West.

“It’s a funny story,” the winning woman cheered when speaking with us.

“I’ve been buying Instant Scratch-Its here and there for my husband since the pandemic.

“We usually have a few little wins and reinvest. This was one of those times.

“We took the new Instant Scratch-Its ticket home and started scratching.

“Sometimes I get my adult children to help me scratch them.

“I gave my adult daughter the ticket to scratch, and she tossed it to the side, assuming it was a losing ticket.

“Luckily I check them before I throw them away because it was a winner!

“When I saw that it was $10,000, I kept checking it over and over. I couldn’t stop looking at it.

“I stuck it on the fridge for safekeeping. I kept wondering if it was real, if I was seeing things and what I was going to do next.

“I took the Instant Scratch-Its ticket to the outlet to check it, and they quickly gave it back to me telling me to hold onto it and I definitely did.

“We have a trip we’ve had planned for a while, and this is definitely going to enhance our holiday plans!

“We also have some house renovations we’d like to do so we’re excited for that.

“Thank you so much.”

The Lucky Charm Airport West team said they were over the moon to have sold a division one winning entry and wished their winner all the best for the future.
