A Boyne Island woman was left laughing with joy after a festive game organised by her sister on Christmas Day bagged her an Instant Scratch-Its ticket with a top prize of $10,000.

The $1 Christmas Gift Instant Scratch-Its ticket was purchased from TSG Burpengary News, Shop 22, Burpengary Plaza, 177-183 Station Road, Burpengary.

“I’m great!” the gleeful woman laughed when we reached out to confirm the win.

“I don’t normally play actually but my sister organised some mini games to play on Christmas Day and had Instant Scratch-Its tickets as prizes.

“I won one of the games and she gave me the scratchie. Next thing I know, I’m looking at a $10,000 win!

“It was a massive surprise!

“I’ve got to give it to her – she knows how to pick a great prize!

“I’m going to share the winnings with her and use the rest for home renovations.

“We’ve just started some so it’s come at a perfect time.

“What a fabulous way to end the year!”
