A Marsden couple are looking forward to paying it forward with the Live the Life prize they scored on an Instant Scratch-Its given to them as a gift.

The $10 Live the Life top prize-winning Instant Scratch-Its ticket was purchased at Nextra Village News Nerang, 57 Station Street, Nerang. The prize will be paid in instalments of $1,000 a week 10 years.

“It still hasn’t sunk in!” the winning man exclaimed when we confirmed the win.

“I don’t know how to feel. It was a massive surprise!

“My wife and I started crying.

“We have been having all sorts of setbacks, so this really came at a perfect time.

“It’s just phenomenal.”

The generous couple shared they planned to use some of the prize to give back to the community.

“We are very grateful, and we want to do good with the win.”

“It came when we really needed it, so we hope to help others too.”
