Rockhampton woman ready to set sail after $202,000 Lucky Lotteries win
A Rockhampton woman has confessed to ‘having a feeling’ she would win after taking home the 1st Prize of $200,000 in the latest Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw – and she was right!
The intuitive woman won the guaranteed 1st prize of $200,000 in Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw 1184, drawn 24 December 2018. As well as the 1st Prize the woman also won a consolation prize worth $2,000.
Sharing her joy with us this afternoon, the woman revealed she had only been playing the Lucky Lotteries game for a short time.
“That just absolutely blows me away!” she exclaimed.
“It feels absolutely fantastic! Amazing!
“It’s funny you’ve just called now. I logged on to the website earlier to see if it had been drawn and it said ‘pending’ so I said to myself ‘that’s ok I’ll just wait for a phone call’.
“I’ve only been playing Lucky Lotteries for the last week – I thought to myself you have to be in it to win it.
“So when the phone rang I laughed ‘that must be Golden Casket’ and it was!
“I just had a feeling! Wow! That’s absolutely fantastic!”
When asked how she planned to spend her windfall, the overjoyed winner revealed she had her eyes set on a relaxing holiday away with her husband.
“I’ve always wanted to on a cruise! My husband and I have been talking about it for six months but now we can finally book it!” she said excitedly.
“I wouldn’t mind seeing some more of Australia before we go overseas so it would be nice to see some of our own backyard.
“You think about these things, but you don’t actually plan it until something like this happens!
“It’s just absolutely fabulous!”
