A Crookwell woman has admitted she won’t really believe she won $100,000 in a recent Lucky Lotteries draw until she sees the prize in her bank account.

The Southern Tablelands resident held the 1st Prize winning entry in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 10753, drawn Tuesday 14 February 2023.      

While the winner scored the prize on Valentine’s Day, it wasn’t until a week after the draw that she realised her good fortune.

“I didn’t believe it!” she explained when speaking with us.

“I had to confirm it was real. I probably won’t believe it’s really real until I see it in the bank account.

“I wouldn’t say I play regularly. I started buying lottery tickets as my grandmother used to do it give me one for my birthday and it’s just a tradition I’ve kept going. So when I think of it, I buy one.

“Generally, when I check my tickets, there’s no win, but not this time.

“I’m not going to start planning what to do with the prize until it’s in my hands, but it will certainly be put to good use!”

Her winning entry of one number was purchased at Davies Newsagency, 63 Goulburn Street, Crookwell.
