A Killingworth man has confessed his afternoon fishing plans went straight out the window as soon as he discovered he’d snagged a $100,000 win in today’s Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw.

The Lake Macquarie resident won the guaranteed 1st Prize of $100,000 in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 10703, drawn Tuesday 4 October 2022.

The avid fisherman was oblivious to his win until we made contact moments after today’s draw.

“That’s unbelievable!” he proclaimed.

“What fantastic news.

“I had plans to go fishing this afternoon, but I think I might just sit at home with a big grin on my face now!

“I’ve already bagged the biggest prize I could. No point chasing fish now.

“It’s going to be great to share this news with my wife.

“This money will assist us moving forward and make life a little bit easier.

His winning entry of 10 consecutive numbers was purchased at Mac’s IGA Xpress West Wallsend, Shop 6, 6 Withers Street, West Wallsend.
