A Cobram man has declared the news he won over $959,000 in the weekend’s TattsLotto draw as “sensational”.

The Victorian man held one of the seven division one winning entries nationally in TattsLotto draw 4095 drawn Saturday 17 October 2020. Each division one winning entry took home a prize of $928,717.17.

As well as winning the coveted division one prize, the thrilled winner also scored division three 30 times, division four 150 times and division six 200 times bolstering his total prize to $959,274.27.

When an official from The Lott broke the news to the man this morning, he couldn’t contain his excitement.

“Are you serious! That’s incredible! Sensational! Bloody oath!” he exclaimed.

“No way! I had no idea as I didn’t get an email to say I had won.

“I thought it mustn’t have been a winner! I can’t believe it!

“What fantastic news! I’ve just told the wife we’ve won over nine hundred grand and she’s nearly in tears.

“I play every week. I can’t believe we’ve finally won!”

When asked how he planned to enjoy the windfall, the thrilled winner revealed he would put it to good use for his family’s future.

“I don’t know how I will enjoy it just yet. I think I’ll need to let it sink in a bit more first,” he explained.

“But I’ll definitely invest it, so it helps my family for years to come. It will help set our kids up and might buy us a few new things too!”

The regular player, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased his winning System-11 QuickPick entry online at thelott.com – Australia’s official lotteries.
