Darwin woman finishes 2023 on a high with $2.3 million TattsLotto Lotto prize
A Darwin woman has declared 2024 is going to be her year and can’t wait to buy a new house and new car after scoring $2.3 million in the weekend’s TattsLotto draw.
The Territorian held one of the 13 division one winning entries in TattsLotto draw 4429 on Saturday 30 December 2023. Each division one winning entry pocketed $2,307,692.31.
“I thought I was dreaming,” the woman told us when we called to confirm her prize.
“I discovered it last night. I haven’t slept since.
“I usually just buy a ticket into Lotto when there’s a big draw. I was out shopping with my family yesterday, so decided to grab a ticket.
“It’s a good way to end the year!
“It’s incredible.
“I’ll definitely be getting a new house and a new car in the new year! It’s going to be a great year!”
Her winning 18-game QuickPick was purchased at Nextra Casuarina, Shop Gd19, Casuarina Shopping Centre, 247 Tower Road, Casuarina.
Nextra Casuarina manager Jenna Moseley said she hoped the win was the start of a winning streak for her customers.
“We are always hoping for a big win from our store and to finish the year off with a division one winning ticket sold, you can't beat that!” she said.
“Hopefully, everyone is going to be as excited as we are! I think they will be happy to see another big win here in the NT.
“We last sold a division one winning entry for TattsLotto back in 2020, so we are over the moon to have sold another one!
“What a fantastic start to the new year! A huge congratulations to our winner. What a life-changing win!”
