The Melburnian held one of the 11 division one winning entries nationally in TattsLotto draw 4409, drawn Saturday 21 October 2023. Each division one winning entry took home $1,818,181.82.
The merry man was at work this morning when he received a phone call from us confirming his newfound fortune.
“I’m in disbelief,” he laughed.
“I’ve been waiting for your call!
“My wife checked her TattsLotto after dinner last night and she realised she didn’t win anything, so she told me to check mine.
“I told her that I would check it later in the night, but she kept persisting that I check the ticket.
“I decided to scan the ticket on The Lott app and my heart started racing. She looked at me and said, ‘What? What?’
“We couldn’t believe it. We were in so much shock.
‘”Thank you so much for this phone call.”
The victorious Victorian shared him and his wife had already started brainstorming plans all the that the million-dollar win could bring for them.
“We’ve already started to talk about buying a house and have been looking at real estate,” he revealed.
“We would like to pay off some debts as well.”
His winning System 8 entry was purchased online at thelott.com – the official home of Australia’s lotteries.
