11 winning entries share in Saturday Lotto's $20 million Superdraw prize
With the end of the year in sight, many Aussies were keen for a chance to score a slice of the $20 million Superdraw prize in time for the festive season.
Saturday Lotto is renowned for making the most millionaires and last weekend was no let down. Each division one winning entry took home more than $1.8 million each. We’re sure the remainder of these winners’ years will be nothing short of extraordinary...
Here’s a rundown of how the wins landed:
- Across Australia, there were 11 division one winning entries in Saturday Lotto draw 4409: four each in Queensland and New South Wales, two in Victoria and one in Tasmania.
- Nine of these winners became overnight millionaires scoring more than $1.8 million each!
- The winning numbers in draw 4409 on 21 October 2023 were 30, 29, 7, 2, 31 and 12, while the supplementary numbers were 9 and 33.
- There were more than 1.9 million wins across divisions two to six who collectively took home more than $22 million in prize money. Make sure you check your tickets to see if you had a win.
One of our favourite winners’ stories was a woman from the Sunshine Coast who was left in complete and utter shock upon her discovery.
“I think I blacked out! I pulled the ticket up and my mind just went into overdrive. I’ve never seen so many numbers in sequence,” the winning woman told us.
“It hasn’t quite sunk in yet that I’ve won so much money and I feel like I’m walking around in a dream. But honestly, I’m walking on sunshine!
“I’ll park my money for about six months and then I’ll figure out what I want to do. The world is my oyster and I’m so grateful.”
