Two Point Cook friends have begun celebrating a $1 million TattsLotto win from the weekend’s draw, with one of the duo declaring she’ll use her share of the prize to get new floorboards.

The happy pair held one of the six division one winning entries nationally in TattsLotto draw 4115, drawn Saturday 26 December 2020. Each division one winning entry takes home $1,061,316.47.

My little heart’s going so fast,” one of the winning pair admitted moments after we confirmed her win.

“You’re kidding! Oh my goodness! That’s amazing!

“I take this ticket with a friend of mine. We’ve been doing it for ages.

“I never check my own ticket or the numbers as I think I’ll just get it wrong. We’ve been using the same numbers all this time. He gave me some numbers, then I had some numbers, and we just drew them out of a hat to put on our entry.

“I’ve always said if I ever win division one, a couple of hundred thousand dollars would do me.

“You’ve made my day!”

While the excited winner couldn’t wait to break the million-dollar news to her syndicate partner, she also shared how she might use her portion of the prize.

“I want my floorboards done!” she laughed.

“I’ve got carpet under the dining table and I’ve always wanted floorboards. I might get a new car too!

“I also want to help my family. I’ll be able to help them a lot.”

Sanctuary Lakes Lucky Lotto owners Aubrey and Belinda Matthee said they were ecstatic to see a major win land in the region. “

What a way to enter 2021 – especially with the challenging year Victorians have experienced,” Aubrey said.

“We will be sharing this exciting news with all our customers! This is our second division one win in nearly three years.

“We’d like to congratulate our winners on this significant win. We wish them a prosperous 2021! It can only get better!”
