Fitzgibbon woman crowned first Set for Life division two winner
An ecstatic Fitzgibbon woman admitted she won’t be needing coffee to wake her up this morning, after discovering she won division two in last night’s Set for the Life draw – the first since the launch of the game’s new changes.
The Queensland player scored the division two prize of $5,000 a month for one year in Set for Life draw 1691, drawn Monday 23 March 2020. This was the first draw since the launch of the game changes on 23 March 2020.
This morning we shared the exciting news with the winner, who broke down in tears upon hearing the revelation.
“I am still in bed. I had a terrible night’s sleep,” she explained.
“Let me just log into my online account.
Oh my god! Oh my god! You are kidding me!
“I’ve won a total of $60,000! Oh my god!
“You have no idea how much this means to me!
“It could not have come at a better time.
“You’ve guaranteed me a good day now. Thank you!
“Gosh you’ve well and truly woken me up now! I don’t think I’ll need a coffee!
“This is just fantastic. It’s unbelievable!”
When asked how she planned to enjoy her windfall, the astonished winner said it would go a long way to helping her get back on her feet after recent tough times.
“I’ve had some injuries recently, and I haven’t been able to work, so this will really help me so much,” she shared.
“I think we might have to get some takeaway tonight to celebrate! Anything that doesn’t require cooking is good.”
