One family from the Shire of Moorabool will be having an unforgettable Christmas after their Set for Life ticket won the First Prize of $20,000 each and every month for 20 years!

The winning woman in her 40s screamed out with delight when we phoned her with the dream-come-true news.

“Oh my god! Oh my god! We’ve been struggling for so long!” she screamed as she started to cry.

“That’s the most amazing thing! I’m pacing around the place, I can’t stand still!“

We’ve had nothing in life and we’ve been to hell and back. Now I feel like the luckiest woman in the world!"

The elated woman was overcome with emotion and excitement about life’s possibilities now that she was Set for Life.

“I can retire now! I’ve wanted to give up work for years, it’s demanded a lot of time from me. Now I can be there for my family and spend so much more time with them!” she exclaimed.

“I’ll be able to pay off my debt, and buy a home! That’s actually possible!

“I’ll get a passport and I’m going!

“I’ll be able to take my family somewhere we’ve always wanted to go - to the North Pole to see the Northern Lights and visit Santa Claus Village!

“And we’re all going on a cruise too! I’m going to find that place on your ads, I think it looks like the Maldives – doesn’t matter, I’ll find it and I’m going!

“I’m beside myself – there’s so much to take in! I’ll probably have to call you back when I eventually get down from cloud 9,” she laughed.

The woman admitted she was still quite new to playing Set for Life.

“It’s unbelievable. A couple of months ago my mother-in-law said you should try Set for Life, so we’ve only been playing 2-Sets each week for a little while,” she explained.

“We had one Set with just random numbers and one Set we chose our own numbers using our special family numbers! Never ever did I expect we’d win First Prize!”

The newest Set for Life First Prize winner, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased her 1st Prize winning 2-Set marked entry from Woodgrove Lotto, Shop K002, Woodgrove Shopping Centre, 533 – 555 High Street in Melton West.

Angela Critelli is the owner of Woodgrove Lotto and was thrilled to know their outlet had sold the nation’s 15th Set for Life First Prize winning entry.

“This is great news for our lucky customer! It’s fantastic to be a part of one of our customer’s dreams!” Mrs Critelli exclaimed.

“It’s an extra special as it’s the first big winning entry we’ve sold since taking over ownership of Woodgrove Lotto only five months ago.

The winning numbers in Set for Life draw 482 on Wednesday 30 November 2016 were 16, 5, 13, 8, 15, 17, 11 and 30, with the bonus numbers 20 and 35.
