Victorian winning entries

Two of the first division winning entries in the jaw-dropping $100 million Oz Lotto draw were purchased in Victoria.

Meadow Heights family received the dream-come-true phone call from Tatts following the draw sharing the news of their $27,993,037.76.

“Are you serious?” the mother of the family asked several times upon hearing the life changing news.

“If I accidentally hang up, call me back please!” she exclaimed.

“Oh my god. I can’t believe it. We’ll be able to set our children up with properties and finally go on the overseas trip I’ve been hoping for to visit friends of mine.

“I don’t drink often but I’ll be popping a bottle of champagne now!” the winning woman laughed.

The Meadow Heights family purchased their winning entry online at Tatts.com.

A central syndicate of 80 members in Victoria also shared in the $100 million draw, winning a first division prize of $27,993,037.76, along with other divisional prizes.

Each syndicate member will claim a first division share of $349,913, along with additional amounts in divisions two to seven. The central syndicate was operated by Tatts and won their prize with a system entry.

New South Wales winning entry

An ACT family will have trouble sleeping tonight after being contacted by a NSW Lotteries official following tonight’s $100 million draw informing them they won a share of more than $27 million!

“It’s hard to know if you’re for real or if one of my family members put you up to this – they’d do that!” the winning man said in disbelief.

“I’ve come close to winning a division one prize before, but not quite close enough!” he exclaimed.

“First of all we’ll pay off our mortgage then we’ll settle the kids’ mortgages. There are some other relatives we’d like to take care of too – they’ve been good to us. I’ll probably have a beer to celebrate.

“Tell you what, I’m glad I answered your phone call tonight. My wife’s just come in wondering who I’m talking to – I better go, I have to tell her we won!”

The winning entry was purchased from a NSW Lotteries outlet during the family’s recent holiday to the coast.

Officials have yet to contact Queensland’s first division Oz Lotto winner of more than $27 million.

As the winning ACT family and the Meadow Heights family had registered their entries to their players card they were able to be contacted by an Oz Lotto official following the draw to share the incredibly life-changing news.

In addition to the huge jackpot prize more than 3.5 million prizes were won across Australia in divisions two to seven, sharing in more than $66.5 million.
