A Cairns woman in her 30s is planning to jet off to Japan for a music festival after today discovering she won the First Prize in Wednesday’s Set for Life draw, pocketing $20,000 a month for the next 20 years.

The Queensland woman’s entry was the only First Prize winning entry in Set for Life draw 1357, drawn on Wednesday 24 April 2019.

The winner was oblivious to the win until we broke the news to her this morning.

“Wow! Holy sh**,” she laughed.

“F**k!

“I am feeling pretty overwhelmed!

“Oh my god. I can’t believe I have won.

“I never thought I would win, not at all!

“This is a huge shock! This is fantastic!

“This is life-changing for me. It will set me up for the future.”

When we asked how she planned to spend her win, the happy woman declared she knew exactly how she would use it.

“Honestly that’ll be my home loan paid off and then I will be able to buy a new home,” she explained.

“I am going to go on a holiday. I want to go to Japan for a music festival and then spend some time exploring the country.

“I’ll share some with my family - help them out.

“But I am going to keep working. It would be nice to retire early one day but I am not ready for it yet.

“I am going to celebrate tonight. Actually, it’s the weekend tomorrow so I am going to celebrate all weekend!”
