Oz Lotto's $40 million prize left unclaimed!
There’s still no sign of the country’s newest Oz Lotto multi-millionaire, whose entry scooped the entire $40 million division one prize pool in last night’s jackpot draw.
The $40 million Oz Lotto prize is still unclaimed and the winner’s story remains a mystery as no-one has yet come forward to Tatts to claim the jackpot prize.
Oz Lotto spokesperson Claire Taylor confirmed the winning entry was purchased in the South Gippsland region of Victoria and Tatts was eager for the winner to come forward and claim their prize.
“Someone who purchased their entry in South Gippsland could be going to sleep tonight $40 million richer without even realising they’re the multi-millionaire we’re waiting to speak with!” Ms Taylor exclaimed.
“The unregistered ticket with the seven winning Oz Lotto numbers on it is worth $40 million and could be floating around in someone’s handbag, glovebox or wallet, or be pinned to the fridge – and the ticket holder may be completely unaware of what it’s now worth!
“That’s why we’re urging anyone who purchased an entry in last night’s Oz Lotto draw 1162 in Victoria’s South Gippsland region to check your ticket as soon as possible at any Tatts outlet or online at Tatts.com.
“We recommend that anyone who believes they are holding the winning ticket to keep it in a safe place and contact Tatts immediately to start the prize claim process.
“We are looking forward to hearing from you and finding out what you plan to do with your $40 million dream-come-true fortune!”
Last night’s $40 million Oz Lotto jackpot was the equal largest Oz Lotto jackpot offered this year.Along with the huge jackpot prize more than 704,667 prizes were won across Australia in divisions two to seven, sharing in a total prize pool of more than $14.2 million.
