A Cairns man has admitted he’s going to resign from his current job and prepare for a more relaxed lifestyle after bagging more than $118,000 in the weekend’s Super 66 draw.

The Far North Queensland man held one of the two division one winning entries in Super 66 draw 4417 on Saturday 18 November 2023 and took home a total prize of $118,983.80.

“Mate, this is unreal!” the winning man laughed when we called to confirm his windfall.

“I’m stoked! This is life changing.

“The first thing I’ll do is resign from my current job and spend more time with my family.

“I’m honestly getting emotional thinking about it but I’m so happy.

“My debt is gone because of this win too!

“I’ve been playing lottery games for more than three decades and I never thought this would ever happen.

“I’m going to be able to help some family members and spend more time with them. It’s a win-win for me.
