A Para Hills pensioner has declared his $31,000 Super 66 win will go a long way to helping him in his retirement after he scored division one in the weekend’s draw. 

The thrilled winner held one of the two division one winning entries in Super 66 draw 4081, drawn Saturday 29 August 2020 and takes home a division one prize of $31,591.55. 

Sharing his joy with us today, the winning man revealed he had been routinely buying entries every fortnight for three decades. 

“Thank you, thank you, thank you!” he exclaimed. 

“That will really help me out. I’m a retired pensioner, so $31,000 will go a long way to keeping me comfortable.

“I play Super 66 every fortnight. I buy a ticket when I put my X Lotto on. 

“I’ve been playing it for 32 years! I remember when you used to buy it, and the ticket came with multiple pieces of paper. You had to sign every page. 

“Now it’s as easy as playing the same numbers again, and you get one ticket. 

“I’ve never won anything like this before. I’ll still play again next fortnight!" 

The winning 5 game QuickPick entry was purchased at Para Hills Newsagency, Shop K & L Para Hills Shopping Centre, 1 Wilkinson Road, Para Hills. 

Para Hills Newsagency owner Axaykumar Shah said he was thrilled to have sold the outlet’s first division one prize. 

“This is the first time we’ve sold division one, so it is very exciting for us!” he exclaimed.
