Generous Geelong mum to spoil her children with her Super 66 win
A generous Geelong retiree says she’s planning on sharing her entire division one prize with her children, explaining she already has everything she could ever want in life.
The Victorian player held one of the two division one winning entries nationally in Super 66 draw 4053, drawn Saturday 23 May 2020 and takes home a division one prize of $24,999.00.
Confirming her win with an official us this morning, the woman explained she’d been waiting for a big win.
“Thank you. Thank you very much!” she exclaimed.
“This is very good. I am so excited!
“My husband has always played Super 66 ever since it started and since I’ve been in charge of buying the lottery tickets I thought I’d better keep playing Super 66 and I am glad I did.
“My husband will be very happy about this, years of playing and dreaming has paid off!
“It’s great news!”
When asked how she planned to enjoy her Super 66 prize, the loving mum could only think of her children.
“We don’t need much ourselves, we already have everything we need,” she said.
“We have a big family, so we will certainly just be sharing with the children.
“It will be a lovely gift for them.”
The woman, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased her winning entry at Bellpost Lotto & News, Shop 13, Bellpost Shopping Centre, 290 Anakie Road, Norlane.
Bellpost Lotto & News manager Shandelle Griggs said the outlet had sold 12 division one winning entries over the past 30 years.
“We were absolutely over the moon when we discovered we’d sold another division one winning entry,” she said.
“We will be celebrating this special milestone with our customers.
“Congratulations to our winner. We wish her all the very best.”
