After allowing 20 days to pass, a local Mordialloc man has finally claimed after his division one Super 66 prize worth more than $175,000!

Instead of delivering the dream come true news after the Boxing Day draw, Tatts officials had been patiently waiting for the division one winner to check their unregistered ticket and realise they had won!

The happy winner said he was oblivious to the fact he had won division one despite knowing that his local outlet had sold the winning ticket.

“I had no idea it was me! It’s funny because my nephew actually mentioned to me that our local bloke at Warren Village Newsagency had sold a division one winning ticket, but of course I took no notice!” the man laughed.

“My winning ticket was sitting on the kitchen bench with a couple of Instant Scratch-Its tickets that had won about $5 each, so I eventually decided I better cash them in and check my Super 66 entry.

“When I realised I was the mystery winner I couldn’t believe it! I’m still wondering if I’m dreaming!

“I will share the money with my children which will no doubt go towards my grandchildren’s ‘back to school’ fund! Every little bit helps.

“My wife and I may also go away on a nice holiday but we’ll need to sit down first and nut it all out.”

The regular Super 66 player, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased his division one winning Super 66 ticket at Warren Village Newsagency, 87 Warren Road in Mordialloc.

It’s the second run on the board for the outlet which sold a TattsLotto division one winning store syndicate to twelve happy customers who shared a prize worth more than $1.3 million in late November.

Qi ‘Sunny’ Sun is the owner of Warren Village Newsagency and said he was thrilled to have sold another division one winning entry.

“We are so excited that we finished up 2015 with two division one wins!” Sunny exclaimed.

“My dream for the New Year is to sell another division one winning entry soon so we can score our division one hat-trick!”

The winning numbers in Super 66 draw 3593 on 26 December 2015 were 0, 8, 8, 4, 0 and 6.
