A young Bracken Ridge dad has started the week on a high after being surprised by a $118,000 windfall in the weekend’s Super 66 draw.

The Queenslander held the only division one winning entry in Super 66 draw 4387 on Saturday 5 August 2023. He scored $118,232.40.

The winner was oblivious to his good fortune until we made contact with him on Sunday morning.

“Wow!” he exclaimed.

“It’s a bit life-changing!

“I only play Super 66 every now and then, but I’m glad I put this ticket on. I just saw the game there and thought, ‘just go for it’.

“I’m just hanging out with the family this morning and I had no idea.

“We’ve got a few bills popping up so this will be a huge help. We have our own home but with interest rates going up, it will be great to have this in the bank account.

“It definitely gives us a bit of breathing space.

“I will have a great day and great week now!”
