A Bass Hill woman has today revealed intuition led her to grabbing an Instant Scratch-Its ticket that delivered her a $100,000 top prize win.

The top prize winning $5 Crosswords Instant Scratch-Its ticket was purchased at Bass Hill Plaza News, Shop 43, Bass Hill Plaza, 753 Hume Highway, Bass Hill.

Speaking with us, the overjoyed winner admitted she was still coming to terms with her instant win.

“I love buying Crosswords Instant Scratch-Its tickets. They’re so fun and I always get them if I have some cash leftover after going shopping,” she shared.

“Plus, I’ve been feeling really, really down lately, and they always put me in a good mood.

“Then, on Sunday morning, I just had this overwhelming feeling that I should go and get an Instant Scratch-Its ticket, and so I did, and it paid off!

“I was so excited when I saw I’d won the top prize. I still can’t believe it!

“It made my week. It’s so hard to comprehend. You always hope you’ll win, but never actually expect it.

“I’m going to use my prize to help my children and pay off my mortgage.

“I’ll spoil myself a little and get something I wouldn’t normally get, just as a little treat.

“Then, if I have anything left over, I’ll use it on some house upgrades.

“I’ve already told my husband the news, and he was so happy. He was blown away!

“We’re going to go out for a celebratory dinner – but it’s also my birthday this weekend, so it’ll be a double celebration, which is even better.”
