Two-thirds of 2022’s Powerball division one winning entries have been QuickPicks (aka the easiest way to play) – where your numbers are randomly generated for you.
About a quarter of the year’s division one winning entries have been PowerHit entries – an entry unique to Powerball that guarantees the all-important Powerball number you need to win division one.
Powerball’s “Hot” and “Cold” numbers
While each and every number has an equal chance of being drawn, we do see some numbers drawn out of the barrel more often than others.
From the main barrel, where seven winning numbers are drawn from 35, the most frequently drawn numbers are 17, 9, 2 and 25, while the least frequently drawn are 33, 31, 34 and 6.
From the Powerball barrel, where a single Powerball number is drawn from 20, the most frequently drawn Powerball number is 19, while the least frequently drawn Powerball numbers are 18, 16 and 14.
We hope these tips and tricks helped you ahead of Thursday night’s Powerball draw!
