Powerball has soared to a phenomenal $100 million for next Thursday’s draw – giving Australian lottery players the chance to start the new financial year as a newly made multi-millionaire.

For the first time in 2023, the Powerball jackpot has surged to $100 million for next week’s draw after there were no division one winners in tonight’s draw.

While no one took home the coveted jackpot prize, there were a total of 1,980,836 prizes worth more than $40 million won in divisions two to nine in tonight’s Powerball draw. Among those winners were four division two winners who each took home a $280,009.50 prize.

Next week’s Powerball draw, draw 1414 on Thursday 22 June 2023, offers the largest jackpot offered by any Australian lottery game so far this year.  It’s only the sixth time in Powerball’s 27-year history the game has offered $100 million.

Up to half of Australian adults are expected to have an entry into the draw with the hopes of becoming the nation’s newest multi-millionaire. 

if just one player scored the entire $100 million jackpot next Thursday night, they would immediately become Australia’s second biggest lottery winner.

As this is the largest lottery jackpot we’ve seen in Australia since December of 2022, we’re expecting it to be busy in-store and online in the lead-up to next Thursday’s draw.
