The Powerball juggernaut is climbing once again with the game jackpotting to a phenomenal $100 million for draw 1475 on Thursday 22 August 2024.

Thursday’s $100 million Powerball jackpot is the third biggest prize offered to Australian lottery players by any Australian lottery game in 2024.

It comes after no player held all the seven winning numbers and the all-important Powerball number needed to win division one during the past four Powerball draws.

While no one took home the multi-million-dollar jackpot in tonight’s Powerball draw, there were a total of 1,603,204 prizes worth more than $32.13 million in divisions two to nine. Among those winners were six division two winners who each took home a $149,108.65 prize.

Up to half of Australia’s adults are expected to have an entry into next week’s $100 million Powerball draw with the hopes of becoming a newly minted multi-millionaire.

In May, Powerball offered $150 million and crowned Australia’s biggest individual lottery winner – an Adelaide man who took home the entire jackpot prize.

We’re eagerly anticipating whether this draw will produce another division one winner or if the jackpot will continue to climb, repeating history once more.

If a single player were to win the entire $100 million, they wouldn’t just see a massive boost to their bank balance; they’d also become Australia’s third-biggest individual lottery winner.

The only way to be in the running for this multi-million-dollar prize is by purchasing a ticket, whether in-store, online, or through The Lott app.
