A Wishart retiree is busy adding new destinations to his travel bucket list after the revelation he won the $200,000 1st Prize in the latest Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw.
 
In addition to winning the 1st Prize in Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw 1069, drawn on 1 November 2017, his entry also won a consolation prize, bolstering his total windfall to $201,000.
 
Remarkably, the man’s winning entry was a free bonus entry he received when he bought his usual registered lotto entry.
 
“I promise not to spend it all at once at the one place all,” the happy winner laughed when his win was confirmed by a Golden Casket official.

“I’m as happy as a pig in mud! I’m a regular Powerball and Saturday Gold Lotto player and this was a bonus ticket!”

The self-confessed globetrotter plans to use his Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot windfall to bolster his retirement nest egg and also embark on some new travel adventures.
 
“I try and make an overseas trip each year but I haven’t achieved it this year, but think I’ll be able to do it next year now,” he said.
 
“There’s places I want to go to in Asia and New Zealand – I’ll have to give it some serious thought!
 
“It probably also means I’ll make it on a trip to the Antarctic at some stage!”
 
The man, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased his winning entry of two consecutive numbers from Nextra Garden City Level 2, Shop 2015, Westfield Garden City, Cnr Logan and Kessels Road, Upper Mt Gravatt. 
 
Nextra Garden City Level 2 sales manager Bianca Ayres said she was thrilled one of her customers had landed the Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot 1st Prize.
 
“We’ve been busy celebrating the fact that someone won the $200,000 prize,” she exclaimed.

The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $5.56 million for draw 1070, while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot is now $5.05 million for draw 10193.
