“I was very surprised when I checked my numbers - I never thought it would ever happen to me.”

The regular player admitted the numbers on his System 7 marked entry were inspired by his family.

“I’ve had these numbers for about 30 years, they are the birth dates of all my family,” he shared

“I’ve never won anything like this before! I’ve won division four a couple of times but nothing like this!”

When asked how he planned to spend his TattsLotto windfall, the generous family man confessed he was keen to share his prize.

“I’ll split the win amongst my family and then maybe think about a holiday!” he declared.

The regular player, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased his winning entry at Somerset Newsagency, 45 Wragg Street, Somerset.

Jeremy Turner, manager of Somerset Newsagency, said he was thrilled to have sold another division one winner.

“We sold a division one winning entry a few years ago, so it is nice to have another one!” he exclaimed.

“We’ve decorated the store and been telling all of our customers we’ve had a big winner.

“Congratulations to our winner – we hope they enjoy their prize!”
