A Sunbury man had started to think his regular TattsLotto numbers were “duds” until he checked his ticket on the weekend and discovered they’d delivered him a division one prize.

The Victorian held one of the seven division one winning entries in TattsLotto draw 4465 on Saturday 4 May 2024. Each division one winning entry scored $703,314.88.

“I’ve checked this ticket about 10 times!” the winning man laughed.

“I’ve been playing these numbers for years. I was starting to think they were dud numbers as they never won anything, but I kept playing them.

“It takes a while to sink in!”

While the winning man had yet to make any concrete plans for this prize, he shared he hoped to use the prize to make life easier for himself and others around him.

“It’s going to come in handy, that’s for sure,” he laughed.

“I probably won’t be shopping at Aldi anymore!”

The man’s winning marked System 8 entry was purchased at Sunbury Square Lotto and News, Shop 5, Sunbury Square Shopping Centre, Cnr Macedon & Evans Streets, Sunbury.
