There was a gold rush in South East Queensland on the weekend with two Saturday Gold Lotto entries striking it big and each taking home a staggering $3.7 million. 
 
A Forest Lake dad and a Spring Mountain mum each held one of the eight division one winning entries nationally in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 4481, drawn Saturday 29 June 2024. Each division one winning entry scored $3.7 million.
 
Remarkably, it’s the second major lottery win for the Forest Lake dad, who landed a $2.8 million prize earlier this year.

A Forest Lake dad has experienced a case of déjà vu after claiming his second major lottery win this year – this time a $3.7 million win in the weekend’s Saturday Gold Lotto. 
 
The Brisbane resident was left questioning his sanity after checking his ticket on The Lott app and seeing another million-dollar win.
 
“I can’t believe it’s happened again,” he gasped.

“Wow! Thank you so much. I had a double-take when I checked it this morning. 

“I just thought to myself, ‘Wow, this is unbelievable’. Winning twice is magical.
 
“I told my siblings this morning and my sister said to me, ‘Is this real? What are the chances?’.
 
“My brother rang up all of his friends and they got together to celebrate.
 
“Some might question why I continue to play but I thought I’d give it another shot to continue to help out my family. 
 
“We’re all so shocked.”
 
When asked what he planned to do with another multi-million-dollar boost, the white-collar worker shared it would help him work on himself.  
 
“Last time, I used most of the win to help set up my family,” he said.

“Now, I’ll be able to donate to a lot of charities, buy myself a property and travel the world!
 
“This really gives me the freedom to travel everywhere. I want to see all of the world!

“I’m still working. I love what I do. I work in the medical sector, and I really enjoy giving back to those less fortunate.”

A devoted mum from Spring Mountain is committed to using her $3.7 million win in the weekend’s Saturday Gold Lotto draw to help set up her daughter for success.
 
The winning woman received the surprise of a lifetime when she checked her ticket this morning and uncovered her newly made multi-millionaire status.
