A Bonnells Bay woman and her husband are ready to hit the road for an all Aussie adventure after scoring more than $700,000 in the weekend’s Saturday Lotto draw.
 
The Lake Macquarie resident held one of the seven division one winning entries in Saturday Lotto draw 4465 on Saturday 4 May 2024. Each division one winning entry scored $703,314.88.
 
“My little heart is beating fast!” the woman exclaimed when we confirmed her prize.
 
“We haven’t had much sleep. It’s so exciting!
 
“I checked the ticket last night after the draw and I had to go and wake my husband. He didn’t believe me at first, but he does now!
 
“This will change our lives, it really will. It’s just amazing.
 
“I just play randomly. I won $36 on Thursday night so I thought I would roll it over and get a ticket into Saturday Lotto.
 

“I’ve joked to my husband for years that all my plans hinge on winning Lotto! And now we’ve won it!
 

“We want to start travelling around Australia – the plan is to do a lap of the country. This will be a great nest egg for that. We’ll also be able to share some with our kids.”
 
The woman’s 36-game QuickPick entry was purchased via The Lott app – the official home of Australia’s lotteries.
