A relaxing and well-deserved spa retreat is at the top of a Para Hills woman’s wish-list after she landed an incredible $50,000 windfall in a recent Keno draw.

The Adelaide resident scored the $50,000 Keno Spot 8 prize in draw 230708 639, drawn Saturday 8 July 2023.

We surprised and delighted the winning woman who burst into tears when it was revealed she’d won the fantastic prize.

“My glasses are fogging up! I’m starting to cry!” she exclaimed.

“Times have been tough. This is so wonderful.

“I had no idea. I’m very overwhelmed.

“I was at the local shopping centre on the weekend, and I thought stuff it!’

“I only bought the ticket for two draws – I can’t believe it won $50,000!

“This is definitely a surprise for my Monday. I’m still going to work today though!

“I can’t wait to tell my husband. He’s at home right now and has no idea.

“I’m very excited.”

The South Australian wasted no time listing ways she was going to to celebrate her windfall in the coming weeks.

“I’m going to Melbourne soon and will visit a spa retreat – one hundred percent!” she shared.

“It’s been tough for my family, and this has come at the most perfect time.”

Her winning Spot 8 winning entry was purchased at Saints Newsagency, Shop 11, Saints Shopping Centre, 83 Saints Road, Salisbury Plain.

Saints Newsagency owner Stella Chen said she couldn’t believe the winning news when she first found out.

“I couldn’t believe it as we haven’t sold a major Spot 8 winning entry before! We can’t wait to share the winning news with all of our customers this week,” she revealed.

“The last time we sold a division one winning entry was New Years Day in January 2020 and it was a million-dollar win. There’s no doubt this is the start to a winning streak!
