SA Lotteries had been attempting to phone the woman all day to break the news that she was $10,000 richer but the woman
“Oh my gosh! That’s fantastic! Thank you!” the woman exclaimed.
“I had my phone on silent because I was at the movies and I saw the missed calls and thought I’d better check that out!
“That’s just brilliant news – thank you!”
The thrilled woman admitted that she was a regular Keno player.
“I deliberately went into that competition because I thought it was a good one!
“I play Keno often, especially when there is Coin Toss promotion, I do like Keno – I even bought more tickets today!”
When asked how the woman planned to spend her $10,000 Keno windfall, the woman said she would use it to see her family.
“We have family that live out of state so we will use it to go and visit them that’s for sure,” the woman explained.
“I know that they want to come to us for Christmas too, so this will definitely help out too immensely!”
Keno Coin Toss allows you to select heads, evens or tails based on where you believe the 20 winning Keno numbers will be placed on the grid.
For the chance to win one of four $10,000 cash prizes, Keno players were required to enter their ticket number with five or more consecutive Keno Coin Toss draws on the one ticket into the promotion between 1 to 21 July.
Last financial year, there were 27 Keno Spot 8, 9 and 10 winners across South Australia who landed more than $5.98 million. Spot 10 was won twice during this time, remarkably both on the same day, 1 May 2017.
Keno is a game whereby 20 numbers are randomly generated from a possible 80.
To win a Keno Spot 8 prize, a player must match all eight of the numbers selected on their ticket against the 20 numbers drawn.
