Salisbury North man celebrates $150,000 Keno Spot 9 win with a beer
A Salisbury North man is looking forward to celebrating with a beer this afternoon after claiming his $150,000 Keno Spot 9 prize.
The thrilled winner is now $150,000 richer from winning Keno Spot 9 in draw 2430924 drawn Saturday 10 November 2018.
When we spoke with him this afternoon, the happy man explained how he came to hold his winning Keno Spot 9 entry.
“Every Saturday I head out to do some errands and grab a coffee. I always chuck on a couple of Keno games on while I drink it,” he explained.
“I used my family birthdates and ages to pick my numbers on this one.
“I checked my ticket and it said I had won. I thought it was only a few hundred until the girl behind the counter printed out the numbers and we checked them.
“I think I’ll have a beer this afternoon to celebrate.”
When asked how he planned to spend his Keno windfall, the stoked bloke revealed it would come in handy for his future retirement plans.
“I’ll pay off the house, throw some in the investments and the rest will go into my super fund,” he declared.
The man, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased his winning Spot 9 entry at Topz Shopz Salisbury North, Shop 2, 116 Diment Road, Salisbury North.
Owner of Topz Shopz Salisbury North, Alanna Wang, said she was thrilled for her local winner.
“We are so excited a local to the area and a regular customer has won!” she exclaimed.
“We’ve sold a division one winning entry and a few smaller divisions recently so we are on a bit of a streak.
“We are so pleased the good prize has gone to a good man!
“We wish the winner all the best with their prize!”
