A West Beach woman has found herself on a winning streak after her smaller $8,000 win in Keno from a couple of weeks ago led her to a remarkable $50,000 Spot 8 windfall this week.

The South Australian scored the Keno Classic Spot 8 winning entry in draw 230730 427, drawn Sunday 30 July 2023 and takes home a total prize of $50,000.

“My husband said I was rather calm, but I think I was in too much shock and disbelief,” she relayed when we reached out to confirm the winning news.

“I had to get him to check the ticket to make sure it was real!

“I think I got more excited when he won $1,300 on a lottery ticket than my own win.

“I’ve been playing Keno for a long time – since it first came to South Australia. It’s nice to have finally won big!

“You wouldn’t believe it! I won $8,000 a couple of weeks ago on another Keno ticket then I won this.

“This will help fabulously towards my house and kitchen.

“I’m not usually one to celebrate with bubbly, but I decided to treat myself.

“I’ll look forward to spraying around a bottle of champagne everywhere!”

The winning Spot 8 entry was purchased at OTR West Beach, 89 Military Road, West Beach.

OTR West Beach spokesperson Khalil Shahi said they were celebrating having one of their customers score a major lottery prize.

“We’ve been celebrating at the outlet and telling everyone we’ve sold a major lottery prize,” she said.

“Lots of people have been thrilled to hear that one of our customers has won. Everyone’s hoping it is the next time!
