Two Adelaide players enjoy Keno windfalls
Largs Bay nomads set to travel around Australia thanks to $50,000 Keno win
A Largs Bay couple have spent the day shopping for caravans and planning an extended trip around Australia after discovering they won $50,000 in a recent Keno draw.
The South Australia players held a Keno Spot 8 winning entry in draw 2671762 on Friday 2 October 2020 and take home $50,000.
This afternoon, we contacted the winning man, who admitted he was still in a state of shock.
“I couldn’t believe it when I checked my numbers,” he explained.
“I was just completely overwhelmed.
“I was gobsmacked!
“I thought ‘Woo-hoo! Finally, some good luck!’.
“It’s just such an incredible win.
“When the money is in my account, I am going to go out for a few drinks with my wife to celebrate.”
When asked how he planned to enjoy his prize, the stoked bloke admitted there was one particular thing on his mind.
“We’ve already been shopping today for a caravan,” he laughed.
“We’re going to get a nice one and just travel around Australia, who knows when we’ll come back!
“We can’t wait!”
The winning entry was purchased at Alpine Deli, 392 Military Road, Largs Bay.
Winning weekend for Clearview Keno player
A Clearview Keno player had an especially exciting weekend, scoring a Spot 8 entry worth $50,000.
The Adelaide resident held a Keno Spot 8 winning entry in draw 2671845 on Friday 2 October 2020 and takes home $50,000.
However, how the winner plans to enjoy their windfall will forever remain a mystery as they have chosen to stay completely anonymous and celebrate in private.
The winning entry was purchased at Hotel Enfield, 184 Hampstead Road, Clearview.
Hotel Enfield venue manager Ross Blair-Holt said they were celebrating having one of their patrons score a major Keno prize.
“We’ve been celebrating at the venue and telling everyone we’ve sold a major Keno prize,” he said.
“Lots of people have been so excited to hear that one of our patrons has won. Everyone’s hoping it is them next time!
“Congratulations to our winner! We wish them all the very best with their prize.”
