$150,000 upgrade to honeymoon after Salisbury Heights man wins Keno Spot 9
A Salisbury Heights man on the cusp of his wedding day has been revealed as the winner of $150,000 Keno Spot 9 prize won in draw 2382611 drawn on Saturday 23 June 2018.
The betrothed man is the first Keno Spot 9 winner in South Australia this calendar year and declared that the win had come just in time to help him upgrade his honeymoon plans.
“I was sitting at the local supermarket when I grabbed a ticket and was watching the Keno screen,” he explained.
“I saw the numbers come up and while I was annoyed at not winning a Spot 10 and taking home the jackpot, I couldn’t complain about $150,000.
“I went home and told my fiancé that I had won and she didn’t believe me. I had to drive her back down to the Keno outlet to show her that I had won!
“We are just about to get married and head off on our honeymoon. We are also in the middle of doing renovations to our home so it will help us out immensely!”
The winning Spot 9 entry in Keno draw 2382611 was purchased at Greenwith Newsagency, Shop 3, 222 Target Hill Road, Greenwith.
Brianna Hill, team member at Greenwith Newsagency, said she was thrilled the outlet had now sold its biggest Keno winning entry.
“That’s awesome news!” she exclaimed.
“The biggest Keno win we’ve sold before now was a Spot 7, so we are thrilled to have sold a Spot 9.
“We are so pleased the winner has come forward to claim their prize and will be able to enjoy it for such an exciting occasion!”
Keno is a game whereby 20 numbers are randomly generated from a possible 80. To win a Keno Spot 8 prize, a player must match all eight of the numbers selected on their ticket against the 20 numbers drawn.
