A young man from Adelaide is thrilled to have won four $10,000 prizes by choosing between heads, evens and tails.

The jubilant man won $10,000 after adding Keno Coin Toss to his regular Keno entries and then entering his ticket number into the Flip Your Way to $10,000 Keno Coin Toss promotion.

The thrilled winner was delighted to be surprised when he received the phone call from SA Lotteries this morning to break the news that he was $10,000 richer!

“Whoa! Oh wow! Thank you! That’s incredible!” the man exclaimed.

“Thank you for sharing that fantastic news with me and making my morning!”

The man admitted he was encouraged to enter the Coin Toss promotion after his regular outlet owner recommended it.

“I went in to buy my usual ticket and she said to me ‘I think you would be interested in this one, it could be lucky for you’ and it was!”

When asked how he planned to spend his $10,000 Keno windfall, the happy man said he was torn between being sensible or splurging, and might have to flip another coin to help him decide.

“I don’t know what I will do, I should pay it off and reduce the mortgage but I’ve also just seen a boat advertised that I want!” the man laughed.

Keno Coin Toss allows you to select heads, evens or tails based on where you believe the 20 winning Keno numbers will be placed on the grid.

For the chance to win one of four $10,000 cash prizes, Keno players were required to enter their ticket number with five or more consecutive Keno Coin Toss draws on the one ticket into the promotion between 1 to 21 July.

Last financial year, there were 27 Keno Spot 8, 9 and 10 winners across South Australia who landed more than $5.98 million. Spot 10 was won twice during this time, remarkably both on the same day, 1 May 2017.

Keno is a game whereby 20 numbers are randomly generated from a possible 80.

To win a Keno Spot 8 prize, a player must match all eight of the numbers selected on their ticket against the 20 numbers drawn.
