“This is a dream come true!”: Cabramatta woman’s overwhelming Tuesday news
A Cabramatta woman knew it was going to be a good day when she woke up this morning, but never expected the news she’d become an overnight millionaire.
The Sydney resident held one of the two division one winning entries nationally in Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw 3990, drawn Monday 13 July 2020, and takes home the division one prize of $1 million.
This morning we contacted the woman to break the life-changing news.
“Oh my god. Thank you very much. Oh my god!” she cried with happiness.
“Thank you. This is a dream come true.
“I’ve been playing the same numbers for 28 years. This is amazing!
“I had a beautiful dream last night and I woke up this morning and said to myself ‘today is going to be a good day’, but I wasn’t expecting this!
“Every day, I read the winners stories on your website and now I am one of them.
“This is amazing. Thank you. I can’t wait to tell my family!”
When asked how she thought she’d enjoy her million-dollar win, the woman said there was no doubt it would be life-changing.
“I’m going to pay off my mortgage and buy myself my dream car,” she declared.
“I will share some of my prize with my family, and I will also do something nice for my colleagues.
“I’m a millionaire. I can’t believe it. I can’t stop shaking!”
The winner, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased her million-dollar winning entry at Mitchum Newsagency, Shop 2, 81-83 John Street, Cabramatta.
Mitchum Newsagency owner Anne Huang said she was thrilled for their latest division one winner.
“It’s great to come into work knowing you’ve played a part in changing someone’s life,” she said.
“We’re very excited for our winner and so happy to hear it’s gone to one of our local and regular customers.
“It’s always so heart-warming to sell a division one winning.
“Congratulations to her!”
