A Riverina man is preparing to live life at 100 miles an hour after discovering he’d won more than $1 million in last night’s Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw.

The Southwest New South Wales resident held the only division one winning entry in Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw 4228, drawn Monday 24 October 2022 and took home $1 million.

“I’d woken up from my afternoon nap and was about to make some dinner when I decided to check my entry,” he told us when confirming his life-changing win.

“The shock of seeing what I’d won nearly knocked me over!

“Good thing I got some sleep yesterday afternoon because I struggled to sleep a wink last night.

“It’s absolutely incredible!

“These are special numbers that I’ve played all my life, but I never expected that I’d be a division one winner.

“My retirement plans immediately changed. I’m going to have the time of my life, life it up and really enjoy myself.
