A Forest Lake shopper has likely had a restless night’s sleep after discovering their thrilling $1 million win in a recent Monday & Wednesday Gold Lotto draw.

The mystery player held one of the two division one winning entries in Monday & Wednesday Gold Lotto draw 4375, drawn Wednesday 27 September 2023 and took home a total prize of $1 million.

So far in 2023, there have been six division one winning entries in the Brisbane Southern Suburbs that have collectively taken home more than $6.8 million in prize money.

However, how the winner plans to enjoy their prize will forever remain a mystery as they’ve chosen to stay completely anonymous and celebrate in private.

The winning entry was purchased at Nextra Forest Lake News, Shop 23-24 Forest Lake Village Shopping, Forest Lake Boulevard, Forest Lake.

Nextra Forest Lake News manager Jenny Ford said she was ecstatic to have sold another division one winning entry in less than 12 months.

“It feels amazing. We’re absolutely over the moon to have graced another customer with a million-dollar win and who would’ve known it would happen less than a year after our previous win!” she said.

“The last time we sold a division one winning entry was on 29 December 2022 when we sold an entry in the $100 million Powerball draw.

“One of our customers took home $33 million. I don’t think we will ever be able to beat that but hopefully we do!

“On behalf of the entire Nextra Forest Lake News team we wish our winner all the best and hope the prize goes a long way.”

While we may never know how they plan to enjoy their prize, we have no doubt they’re unable to stop smiling after discovering their million-dollar win.
