Sleepless night for South Melbourne’s new millionaire

A South Melbourne man has confessed he didn’t get a wink of sleep last night after checking his Monday & Wednesday Lotto ticket before bed and discovering his division one win.

“I’ve checked the ticket about 100 times since and I even bought the paper this morning to double-check the numbers,” the man laughed when we called to confirm his win.

“When I was checking my ticket, I first saw I had five numbers and thought, ‘you beauty’, but then I saw I had all six numbers!

“It’s unbelievable.

“This is going to be life changing. I’ve had a hundred thousand thoughts running through my head.

“The priority is getting myself my own home.

“This is probably the best call I’ve received in my life!

His winning 24-game QuickPick was purchased at South Melbourne Lotto, Shop G09, 265 Clarendon Street, South Melbourne.
