A Collingwood man has been left shellshocked on the way to work this morning after discovering he won a million-dollar prize in last night’s Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw.

The Melbourne player held one of three division one winning entries in Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw 4313, drawn Wednesday 16 August 2023.

In addition to the $1 million division one prize, the Victorian resident’s marked System entry also scored a number of divisional prizes, bolstering his total win to $1,071,582.25.

When we contacted the winner this morning, he confessed he had almost forgotten to buy a ticket into the draw.

“It was just before the Matilda’s game, and I thought I better go get it!” he exclaimed.

“Oh my god! I feel very grateful!

“I need to take a deep breath.”

When asked how he might enjoy his newfound fortune, the Victorian resident revealed he would like to set up his family for the future.

“It will be a great help to my family,” he said.

“We will be able to live more comfortably.

“It’s a great feeling! Thank you so much!”
