While he won’t be retiring immediately after his $1 million Monday & Wednesday Lotto win last night, a Dapto man has shared life is about to become a whole lot easier.

The New South Wales man held the only division one winning entry nationally in Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw 4279 on Wednesday 19 April 2023 and took home a  $1 million prize.

“Tell you what, not bad for a Thursday, hey?” he laughed when we called to confirm his windfall.

“I haven’t really processed this win yet.

“I’m over the moon, believe me, but I’m still in a state of shock.

“It’s definitely going straight to my family. I’d love to make my kids’ lives a bit easier.

“We were just sitting at home last night, and I decided to check the numbers online.

“My jaw just fell open!

“My wife refused to believe it was true, but she’ll have to accept it now, won’t she?

“I won’t retire yet. I enjoy working too much, but life is going to be a little easier from now on.

“Thank you so much!”

The man’s winning 24 QuickPick entry was purchased at Dapto Newsagency, 17 Bong Bong Road, Dapto.
