It’s likely five Gold Coast locals are walking with a pep in their step this morning after their syndicate, called “Weekly Madness”, delivered them a $1 million win in last night’s Monday & Wednesday Gold Lotto draw.

The winning store syndicate held one of two division one winning entries nationally in Monday & Wednesday Gold Lotto draw 4288, drawn Monday 22 May 2023. The winning syndicate took home $1 million and each syndicate member received $200,000.

Shares into the winning syndicate were sold at Broadbeach Day Night Chemist, Shop3-5, 2723 Gold Coast Highway, Broadbeach.

Broadbeach Day Night Chemist owner Julia Clare said the team were over the moon to have sold a winning syndicate entry and couldn’t wait to start celebrating their winning customers.

“I’m so amazed and full of joy!” she exclaimed.

“Being a syndicate, I know the recipients of the win will be some of our lovely regular customers who may have even been part of this syndicate for over 18 months!

“I’m sure there’ll be many a conversation in our store that centres around this incredible win.

“We can’t wait to celebrate either! We’ll have balloons up; we’ll be telling anyone that will listen, and I’m sure it’s going to create a real buzz around the community.
