A Marsden Park man believes he’s had the best start to the working day after discovering he became an overnight millionaire in Monday & Wednesday Lotto while walking to his car.

The New South Wales man in his 30s held one of the two division one winning entries in Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw 4337 on Wednesday 8 November 2023. His total prize was $1,000,021.40.

“I was on my way to work when I checked my app,” the winning man explained when confirming his win with officials from The Lott.

“I was walking to the car and saw I’d won! I was not expecting that.

“You never expect it. I just started entering Lotto a few months ago – just buying randomly every now and then. The expectations were never there, but you never know!

“I’ll still go to work today! What a great day!”

Amid the shock of the morning’s revelation, the happy winner already knew how he was going to use his prize.

“I’m going to pay off the mortgage and with whatever is left over, I’ll save for a new car,” he declared.
