A Western Sydney woman spent Sunday shopping for a new home after checking her Saturday Lotto ticket and discovering a million-dollar prize is heading her way. 

The New South Wales player held one of the five division one winning entries in Saturday Lotto draw 4185, drawn Saturday 28 August 2021 and takes home a division one prize of $1,247,527.15. 

Sharing her shock with us this morning, the overwhelmed winner explained she had been worried the win was a figment of her imagination. 

“Thank you very much,” she laughed with disbelief. 

“I honestly don’t know what to say. 

“I checked my ticket yesterday afternoon and the news is still sinking in. 

“I checked it a few times this morning as well because I thought maybe I’d dreamt it all! 

“This is absolutely amazing. It’s the best news to receive right now during a really tough lockdown.” 

“I’ve been looking at properties I might be able to buy. It will be a massive help. 

“I’d love to go overseas. Obviously we can’t do that right now,but hopefully one day. 

“I’ll certainly be doing something at home to celebrate!”
