Summer in Europe for Pascoe Vale man after $678,000 TattsLotto win
A Pascoe Vale man is looking forward to summer in Europe after his entry in Saturday’s TattsLotto draw yielded him a division one win of over $678,000.
The Melbourne local held one of six division one winning entries nationally in TattsLotto draw 3915, drawn Saturday 26 January 2018. Each winner takes home a division one prize of $678,118.79.
When speaking with us this morning to confirm his win, the thrilled winner recounted how he discovered the life-changing news.
“I was just reading the paper out in the shed on Sunday morning when I saw I had the winning numbers,” he explained.
“The numbers I use to play are all sorts of special numbers to me in some degree.
“They’re numbers like birthdays, combined with other special numbers that I thought would win.”
When asked how he planned to spend his TattsLotto windfall the happy man revealed he had a couple of ideas on how to enjoy the prize.
“Straight off the top of my head I’d have to say I’ll pay off the mortgage!” he declared.
“There has been talk of heading to Europe, so a holiday in Croatia is on the cards.
“Summer over there will be the way to do it!”
The regular player, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased his winning entry at Piedimontes Lotto, 366-368 Bell Street, Pascoe Vale South.
Owner of Piedimontes Lotto Joseph Piedimonte said it was wonderful news for the lucky winner.
“This is the first time we’ve sold a division one winning entry so we are very excited!” he exclaimed.
“We will be having a party in store this week with lots of celebrations with our customers.
“We hope to sell more division one winning entries soon.
“Congratulations to our winner! We hope this will be a life-changing event for him!”
