A generous grandmother from Langwarrin is looking forward to jetsetting to Europe with her family after winning a multi-million dollar division prize one in the weekend’s TattsLotto Superdraw.

The happy woman was one of seven division one winners nationally in TattsLotto Saturday $20 million Superdraw 3889 drawn Saturday 27 October 2018. Each entry takes home a division one prize of $2,857,142.86.

When we confirmed the exciting news with the winner this morning, the happy granny couldn’t help but exclaim with glee.

“Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes!” she screamed enthusiastically.

“I saw the winning numbers on the TV Saturday night. I watch the draw every week.

“I’ve been playing every week since my children were little, so about 45 years!

“I’ve never had a prize like this. I think the most I’ve won is about $1700 – that’s all!

“I never expected to win this much!”

When we asked the excited winner how she planned to spend her windfall, she revealed she would share it with those at the top of her Lotto List – her beloved grandchildren.

“We’ll use it to fix up the house and we’ll share it with the grandkids,” she declared.

“Then we will take them all overseas to Europe. I’ve been a few times but I would love to go back and it will be lovely to do it with family.”

The Langwarrin local purchased her 24-game QuickPick entry at Langwarrin Lotto, Shop 11 South Gateway, 230 Cranbourne-Frankston Road, Langwarrin.

Langwarrin Lotto owner Visnja Dall’Oste said she was thrilled her outlet had sold another division one winning entry.

“We are really happy to hear we’ve sold another big one,” she said.

“We wish our latest winner all the best with their prize!”
